Westwood Community in Action (WCIA)
All Night Grad Party (ANGP)
Westwood Community in Action (WCIA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed to organize and raise the funds necessary to host the annual Westwood All Night Graduation Party (ANGP).
WCIA was founded more than 30 years ago by a small group of concerned Westwood parents who wanted to provide a safe, drug and alcohol-free celebration for our seniors on the night of their graduation. The first party was hosted for the WHS Class of 1989, and a special Westwood tradition was born.
The ANGP event could not happen without the tremendous support of the Westwood community. This annual event depends entirely on the contributions of our community members, local businesses, and the families of WHS as well as the cooperation of WHS staff and administration. It takes hundreds of volunteers plan, raise funds, decorate and chaperone the ANGP.
In recent years, WCIA has answered the call to provide additional safe celebrations and traditions for our seniors including the Promenade, Grad Walk & Lawn Signs.
